Strangely, 'evolution' halted in its final stage, and the market, which was supposed to be banned due to 'evolution,' was allowed to remain. However, compared to its inception, it now appears chaotic and desolate. Enhanced individuals with nothing to do gather in the streets, barely getting by by selling off parts and equipment from their bodies in exchange for 'contribution points.' Those trapped here believe that the Corporate Alliance has abandoned them, and this place is where they end. After defining the broader areas and overall atmosphere of this world, I am choosing to further break down different zones within the city, with the market being a great focal point to showcase urban aesthetics. At the same time, in this design phase, I plan to incorporate more detailed settings and storylines. After developing initial concepts and references, I experimented with various compositions, aiming to enhance the sense of immersion in the visuals. Therefore, I chose camera positions closer to the perspective of the human eye. Additionally, at this stage, I incorporated story elements, exploring more possibilities based on the original concept. After establishing the general layout and composition, I focused on shops and secondary. I designed the main building concept and integrated it into the composition to assess the effect. When designing the main building, I incorporated some energy devices and head-mounted equipment from the previous century to imply that the building has functions related to signal transmission and mental control. I also worked on son mechanical and character designs, roughly sketching them out before starting the modeling process.
3D Assets Because the complexity of having many different characters and buildings in the foreground, I only created rough model assets, while more details were handled in Photoshop.
